Good heater - Leaks

Good heater, love the thermostat control, and quiter than most. Only owned 1.5 year and plastic tank sprung leak. I thought that the plastic tank would not rust, but it split at the seam. No work from mfg. regarding warranty yet.

TA 100 Model Plastic Tanks Faulty
This heater tank sprung a leak within the 1st year of ownership. taking the heater to an “authorized” Reddy heater service center required 3 months for the return and sprung another leak within 8 months.

I am in the process of attempting a repair of the tank on my own now. My opinion of this device - defective out of the box.
