Marshalltown SW218, my first stilts

my first stilts

I love these stilts. They are my first stilts I’ve ever used so I cannot compare them to standard ones, however I am glad I bought them. They work great when I do suspended ceilings, drywall taping, and whatever else…caulking/painting crown molding etc…
The adjustable front shock is nice because it stays stable and flat until you put enough weight forward to compress it. The straps are handy and work well. The leg padding is quite comfortable. I haven’t used them adjusted higher than their lowest position, but the adjustment for height is awesome. Just a flip of the solid lever and slide them to any number of positive stops. Very handy. Would definately purchase again.

really nice
this are a little hard to get used to after i had been using a chipper set for a long time ,i like how flexible they are and also very light , i do a lot of crown molding and i like spraying it to finish it so this things cut the labor for 1/2 of the time or maybe more

not very durable.and to expensive
These stilts are decent, but not really handle the punishement drywall and plaster well. The height adjustment clips are a pain in the ass and break easily (and can not be replaced!) They are comfortable to wear, but feeel as if you drive backwards . I love the straping system and they are easy, but I will go back to Dura stilts, because they took last much longer.Ive been finishing drywall for 14 years and my first pair of stilts over 11 years and the person I sold ve used them.I the Skywalkers and parts for three years had been to break in the first 2 years.
