Hitachi expands its offering of 18 volt Li-Ion tools with the new 2-mode, DH18DL SDS Plus Rotary Hammer. Designed for opitmal performance when drilling holes for the installation of concrete anchors, the DH18DL weighs over 25% less than competitive models making it perfect for overhead drilling. Using an electro-pneumatic mechanism to produce 1 ft./lb. of impact energy, the DH18DL can drill up to 105 holes on one charge 1/4″ x 1 1/4″). A factory set slip clutch protects the user and the gears in the event of a bound bit, while the idle strike restrictor prevents no-load hammering. This eliminates uneccessary wear on integral parts.
