Bully Bag

I bought the Bully Bag for several reasons. First because I needed to move more items than would fit in my car, and second because the trip would be 5,000 miles and I liked the idea of the streamlined design–figuring it would save gas, and finally, it would be folded up when I didn’t need it (not like a huge plastic box that would be hard to store when not needed). The bag arrived on time and is well made. It has lightweight straps that hold it onto the car (I bought heavy straps and ran them from rail to rail over the bag–for security).

Now the downsides–The extra straps make it cumbersome to open along the way, but it was my decision for security. I was always unsure of the security in motel parking lots–since the bag “ties on”–so I ducktaped the ties. And I drove through a bunch of rainstorms along the way. The bag did allow a little water in along the zipper, but I had packed with that in mind, so I only packed waterproof stuff in the bag. And finally re: the aerodynamic shape, HELLO, it is fabric, it will be the shape of the stuff inside. I packed some towels in a garbage bag and stuffed the front to keep the shape of the bag, but if you only fill it with square stuff, it will be square.

Awesome Cargo Bag
This is extremely good quality, nicely constructed cargo bag. I will have no concerns about my cargo in inclement weather. I am extremely satisfied with the quality, design, great price, fast shipping and excellent tracking information I received from Sportsmans guide through Amazon.

Great inexpensive cargo bag
Used the bag for a trip to the coast (about 280 miles each way) and it worked like a charm. Very easy to pack and strap to the roof rack. Can not say how it as proof, rain did not rain on our trip. Since the price difference between this and a hard shell cargo carrier, you can not really go wrong with this. The only complaint and it is minor, is that it is not as aerodynamic as advertised, but other than that we are very happy with the Bully CG-05 Cargo Bag.
